We also collect information about candidates who complete interviews on our platform, including their responses, code submissions, and assessment results, which are provided to the employer who invited them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process transactions; send you technical notices and support messages; respond to your comments and questions; and send you marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time).
We use candidate data solely to generate interview assessments and reports for the hiring company. We do not use candidate data to train our AI models without explicit consent.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, and customer service.
We may disclose your information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3.
We are SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo annual third-party security audits.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@skillnova.ai.
Candidate interview data is retained for 12 months by default and can be deleted earlier upon request from the hiring company.
6. GDPR & International Transfers
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
We transfer data internationally using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission.
